Ana Luiza Millás

Ana as a biologist, holds a PhD and Master’s degree from the Department of Materials Engineering and Bioprocesses at the School of Chemical Engineering of State University of Campinas/UNICAMP. Ana has made part of her research in internationally renowned research centers and institutions, among them the Cornell University in the United States and Nottingham Trent University and The Electrospinning Company in UK. She has experience in the textile industry. Her research in the field of tissue engineering applied to regenerative medicine, is focused on the development of 3D polymer scaffolds using the technologies of electrospinning and 3D bioprinting (Additive Manufacturing). Dr Ana is also a inventor of patented Adhesion and proliferation of fibroblasts on nano and microfibers embedded with natural oils of the Amazon (number: BR13201302310).
